A couple of interesting developments this week for the science minded individuals:

1)MIT researches have built a tiny battery using viruses.
This is cool. Its the beginings of using biologies own tools to build the first generation of nanotech tools.
Can molecular assemblers be far away?

2)researches at another site have found that if you introduce Chaos into a system, Order is created. This has some far reaching implications for those who believe the Universe is too complex to not have an Intelligent Hand.

Well, no time like the present to post a blog entry.
I haven't been doing a lot of physical writing. I have done an awful lot of plotting, which is actually BAD for me, because the way my mind works, once I've thought something through, I feel I've completed the task, let's move on to the next. I always knew I was more likely to write if I just sat down and did it, but you can only get by so much that way. In order to create more complex stories I need to plot. So I started forcing myself to and ended up not actually writing anything down! Arghh!!!
I got a promotion at work...upped my annual salary by almost ten grand, which with 4 kids is great, but I have a hell of a commute now, and a hell of a lot of responsibility too.

Really cool interface. I assume the 'blog" area is for us to post random thoughts?
Nice job. I need to be more active to keep up!
